7.         Old Business:

            None

8.         New Business:

8.1 July 23 Closing: Director Fong mentioned that the Days of ’47 parade and other Pioneer Day celebrations will be happening on July 23, 2022, and wondered if the Library Board would approve closing the library that day due to concern that not very many patrons would show up. Ali Lyddall asked if she can request an action item from Director Fong. She asked her to take a look at the cameras to see how many people come to the door so that the board can have a better understanding of how many people would come in the event that this happens again in the future. Director Fong agreed to look at the cameras. Brent Gardner made a motion to approve the closure of the library on July 23, 2022. This was seconded by Kirsten Woodbury and voting was unanimous in favor.

8.2 Parade Participation: Director Fong stated that if any of the board members would like to join library staff at the Fourth of July parade, they would be welcome.

9.         Adjournment:

A motion to adjourn was made by Brent Gardner and seconded by Jessica Miller. Voting was unanimous in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
