Hey, all you scary/thriller movie fans. Here is a film to put on the list of things to watch ASAP.  The Uninvited is a film that was released in 2009 by the same makers of The Ring and Disturbia, so you know it’s in good company.  It has a good cast including Emily Browning, Arielle Kebbel, David Strathairn, and Elizabeth Banks.

The Uninvited is the scary story of a girl named Anna who is released from a mental hospital after being put in because she broke down due to the mysterious death of her mother.  She returns to her home to find her older sister, Alex, and her father with his new, peculiar fiance.  As they start to research this lady’s history, they start to unearth some things that are quite interesting.  Anna finds herself having ghostly encounters, and some very creepy and suspenseful dreams mixing what is real, and what isn’t. If you liked the two aforementioned films, you’ll no doubt enjoy every second of this one.  The more they figure out, the scarier it gets…for them, AND for the viewer.

On a scale from 1 to 10, it definitely scores a 7 as thriller, but scores a 9 for an ending that will blow your mind…leaving you speechless, breathless, and tingling.  Bet you can’t watch it in the dark…by yourself!

Be somewhat wary, this film is rated PG-13 for violent, language including sexual references, nudity and some drug use.
